What we collect
When you use the forms on this site, we receive what you type: your first name, email address, where you live, your language, and anything you write in the message box. The forms are processed and stored by Netlify, our website host.
Acuity Scheduling handles appointment booking, packages, session credits, and subscriptions. It collects the contact and booking details you provide, the time you choose, and your agreement acceptance. Appointment details are synchronized with Remanso’s Google Calendar, and Zoom provides the video-session link.
Stripe processes card payments through Acuity; PayPal processes payments when you choose that option. Remanso receives payment and transaction records but never sees or stores your full card number.
During coaching, Luis keeps brief private session notes and your client record (ficha técnica) in local files. These private notes are not stored in Google Workspace. Email and the summaries and plans shared with you use Remanso’s Google Workspace account.
If Luis invites you to complete a preparation, progress, or satisfaction form, taking part is optional. Questions may cover your goals, money habits, financial wellbeing, and experience of the service. You can skip a reflection question or discuss it in a session. If a form uses Google Forms, its responses are kept in restricted Google Workspace files and read by Luis. Please do not include account numbers, passwords, or detailed medical information.
Like most websites, the host records technical data such as your IP address and browser type in server logs. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those files from Google. This site does not use advertising cookies or analytics trackers.
How we use it
- To reply to you and schedule calls and sessions.
- To deliver the coaching or education you paid for, including written summaries and plans.
- To prepare for sessions, review progress, and improve the service using the feedback you choose to give.
- To send the newsletter, only if you signed up for it. Every issue has an unsubscribe link.
- To keep the records a business is required to keep, and to comply with the law.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Giving feedback does not authorize publication. Before using your words as a testimonial, Luis asks for separate written approval of the exact quote, how you will be identified, and where it will appear. You can decline. No payment or discount is offered for a testimonial.
Remanso does not put identifiable client information, session notes, client messages, or form responses into AI tools. Luis reads your responses and writes to you himself.
Who else sees it
The providers that make the site and practice work are Netlify (hosting and website forms), Google Workspace (email, calendar synchronization, shared summaries and plans, and optional form responses), Acuity Scheduling (booking, packages, credits, and subscriptions), Zoom (video sessions), and Stripe and PayPal (payment processing). Each handles the information needed for its role under its own privacy terms. Remanso operates from the United States and uses these providers to deliver the service.
A referral update is shared only with your written consent. Information may also be shared when the law requires it or when necessary to prevent serious harm to you or someone else. The coaching agreement explains confidentiality and its limits.
How long we keep it
Form inquiries that do not become a client relationship are deleted within twelve months. Remanso’s retention policy is to keep client records, including session notes, summaries, plans, payment records, and preparation, progress, and feedback responses, for seven years after the work ends, then delete them unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.
Your choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by writing to luis@remansogrowth.com. Luis handles these requests. We respond within the applicable legal period; where no shorter period applies, our response target is thirty days. If a record must be kept for a legal or contractual reason, we will explain that limit.
For clients located in Colombia, the terms in section 16 of the coaching agreement apply: consultations about your data are answered within ten business days of receipt, and claims within fifteen business days starting the day after receipt. If the law permits an extension, we explain the reason and give you a response date before the original deadline expires. Under Articles 14 and 15 of Ley 1581, an extension cannot exceed five additional business days for consultations or eight for claims. Section 16 also explains your authorization, rights, and how to raise a complaint.
You do not have to provide sensitive personal information or authorize its processing to take part in optional questionnaires. You can leave those questions unanswered; declining does not affect access to coaching.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any issue.
Security
Access to client files is limited to Luis and, for the functions described above, the service providers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and ordinary email is not encrypted end to end. Please keep sensitive details out of ordinary email and website forms; you can discuss what you choose to share in a session.
Adults only
Remanso’s services are for adults eighteen and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
