Coaching agreement

Version of October 7, 2026. This agreement is between you and Remanso Growth LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“Remanso”). You accept it when you pay for a package or book a session.

1. What this is

Remanso provides financial life coaching and education: conversations and written tools to help you understand your relationship with money and change what you do with it. Your coach is Luis Gabriel Casas. Coaching focuses on money, behavior, and life transitions, in English or Spanish.

2. What this is not

• It is not psychotherapy, counseling, or mental-health treatment. Luis Gabriel Casas is not licensed to provide mental-health services in any U.S. state. His services are coaching, not clinical care.
• It is not investment, legal, tax, or insurance advice. Luis will not recommend specific investments or insurance products, review your holdings, or manage money. Where those questions come up, the work is to help you prepare good questions for a licensed professional.
• It is not a guarantee. Coaching depends on what you do between sessions. Remanso promises the process, the time, and the written work described below, not a financial result.

3. Services and prices

• Clarity: one 75-minute session, a written summary the same day, and one practical next step. $200. You choose whether to continue; there is no obligation to buy a package or join Continuity.
• Intention: four 60-minute sessions over about six weeks, a one-page 90-day plan in your own words focused on your priorities and next steps, and a 30-minute follow-up about 90 days after the last session. $750.
• Perspective: eight 60-minute sessions over about twelve weeks (one may include someone important to you), a mid-point review of your progress, a written plan focused on your priorities and next steps, and a 30-minute follow-up about 90 days after the last session. $1,400.
• Continuity: available after your first coaching session, whether booked individually or as part of a package. One 60-minute session a month, email support for brief questions between sessions as needed with replies within two business days, and a written summary of our agreed next steps after each session. Introductory rate: $200 a month, charged monthly in advance, with a three-month minimum ($600 total). After the initial period, it continues month to month and you can cancel with one message before the next charge. You may pause for one month, once in any six months, by sending a message before your charge date. Luis stops the subscription so that month is not charged and sends you a link to restart when you are ready. Your place is kept. A paused month is not charged and does not count toward the initial three paid months.

You can start with one session or buy a package directly. A package is a separate purchase: if you buy one after an individual session, you receive four or eight additional sessions.

Sessions are by video call unless we agree otherwise. The prices shown are introductory rates and do not include any product or commission. The free 15-minute call is a chance to meet and see whether working together feels right; coaching begins with your first session.

These introductory rates apply to new purchases under this version. Existing clients keep the price, benefits and terms of their purchase or subscription. The revised Continuity offer does not remove an existing client’s included calls, check-ins, plan updates, cancellation or pause rights.

4. Payment

The Clarity session is booked and paid online at the time of booking, by card, Apple Pay, or PayPal. Packages are purchased online through a secure online checkout, by card or Apple Pay. After your first coaching session, you can join Continuity through the website or a personal Acuity checkout link from Luis, by card or Apple Pay. After payment you book each month’s session yourself. Payment is due before the first session. Sessions in a package are valid for six months from the date of payment. Continuity is charged monthly in advance; a reminder is sent seven days before each charge.

5. Scheduling and cancellations

You can reschedule a session at no cost with at least 24 hours’ notice. With less notice, or if you do not attend, the session counts as used, except that each package includes one late reschedule at no charge. If Luis has to cancel, the session is rescheduled at no cost to you. Sessions start and end on time; a late start shortens the session.

6. If it is not a fit

Clarity is a single session and is not refundable once delivered, except when Luis refers you elsewhere during that session.

If after the first session of a package you decide not to continue, tell Luis within seven days of that session and the unused sessions are refunded in full. Your refund is the price you paid for the package divided by its four or eight sessions, multiplied by the unused sessions. At the current prices, that is $187.50 for each unused Intention session or $175 for each unused Perspective session. Sessions already used keep their package rate. The included 30-minute follow-up has no separate cash value for this calculation.

Continuity begins with three monthly payments of $200 ($600 total). If you choose to stop during those first three paid months because you change your mind, the remaining payments are still due on their usual monthly dates, and your included sessions and email support remain available through the initial period. If Luis ends the coaching or refers you elsewhere because it is not a fit, the remaining payments are waived. If genuine financial hardship makes continuing difficult, contact Luis to discuss an agreed early release from the remaining payments. After the initial three paid months, you can cancel with one message before the next charge, without a new minimum commitment. A month already charged is not refunded, except as provided in section 12 when Remanso ends the work.

7. Confidentiality

What you share stays between you and Luis. Because this is coaching and not a licensed clinical relationship, the information you share is protected by this agreement, not by a legal privilege. Luis may break confidentiality only when the law requires it, or when it is necessary to prevent serious harm to you or to someone else. Luis may discuss the work, without identifying you, with a supervisor or peer consultant as part of his professional development.

8. Recording

Sessions are not recorded unless you and Luis both agree in writing beforehand. Florida law requires the consent of everyone in a conversation before it is recorded, and Remanso follows it.

9. Your part

You are responsible for the decisions you make and for the actions you take, including any financial, legal, or tax decisions. You agree to be honest in the work, to do the small changes you commit to between sessions, and to tell Luis if the work stops being useful.

10. Safety

If at any point you are in crisis or in danger, contact local emergency services or a crisis support service. Coaching is not an emergency service. If Luis believes that what you need is treatment rather than coaching, he will say so and offer a referral, and the work may pause or end.

11. Between sessions

In Clarity, Intention, and Perspective, email is for scheduling and brief questions. Continuity also includes email support for brief questions about your ongoing work, with replies within two business days. Larger topics are brought to the monthly session.

12. Ending the work

Either of us can end the work with written notice. If Remanso ends it for a reason other than your conduct, unused sessions are refunded. Section 7 (confidentiality) continues after the work ends.

13. Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, Remanso’s total liability to you for any claim related to the services is limited to the amount you paid for the package in question. Remanso is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including financial results of decisions you make.

14. Law and disputes

This agreement is governed by the laws of Florida. If we have a dispute we cannot resolve by talking, we agree to try mediation before either of us goes to court. Any court proceeding takes place in Pinellas County, Florida.

15. Whole agreement

This document and the prices and descriptions on remansogrowth.com at the time you pay are the whole agreement. Changes are made in writing.

16. Personal data (clients located in Colombia)

This section applies if you live in or are located in Colombia when you receive the service. It follows Colombia’s Ley 1581 de 2012 and Decreto 1377 de 2013 (compiled in Decreto 1074 de 2015).

1. Who is responsible. Remanso Growth LLC, a company registered in Florida, United States, which provides the service through Luis Gabriel Casas Goyes. Email: luis@remansogrowth.com. Phone: +1 302-402-3119.
2. What data and why. Your name, contact details, city and country, your booking and payment details, and what you share in sessions, forms, and the service questionnaires, which is kept in your client record (ficha técnica). It is used only to schedule and deliver the service, keep the client record that Colombian law (Ley 1090 de 2006) requires, take payment, send you reminders, and measure your progress with the service questionnaires. Stripe processes card payments through Acuity; PayPal processes payments when you choose that option. Remanso never sees your full card number.
3. Sensitive data. What you share about your health, your emotional state, your beliefs, or other intimate matters may be sensitive data (Ley 1581, Article 5). You are not obliged to authorize its processing or to answer questions about sensitive data. If you prefer not to share something, the work adapts to what you do want to share.
4. Artificial intelligence. Remanso does not put your data, sessions, notes, or messages into AI tools, and Zoom’s AI features are turned off in your sessions.
5. Where it is processed. Remanso operates from the United States, and your data is processed there by these providers: Acuity Scheduling (booking, packages, credits, and subscriptions), Stripe and PayPal (payment processing), Zoom (video calls), Google Workspace (email, shared files, and optional form responses), and Netlify (website). Your data authorization includes express consent to this international transfer (Ley 1581, Article 26(a)). Any authorization involving sensitive data, including its processing in the United States, is requested separately.
6. How long. Your client record is kept for seven years and then deleted. Other data is kept for as long as the service lasts and as long as accounting and tax rules require.
7. Your rights (Ley 1581, Article 8). You can see, update, and correct your data; ask for proof of this authorization; learn how your data has been used; access it free of charge; revoke the authorization or ask for deletion when there is no legal or contractual duty to keep the data; and file a complaint with Colombia’s Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio after first raising your request or claim with Remanso. Write to luis@remansogrowth.com. Requests are answered within 10 business days and claims within 15 business days (Articles 14 and 15).
8. Authorization for service information. Before collecting your information, Remanso asks for your prior, informed authorization to use the non-sensitive personal data described above to arrange and deliver your coaching, handle payment, communicate with you, and keep the required records. This authorization does not cover sensitive data.
9. Your separate choice about sensitive data. Accepting the coaching agreement does not authorize the processing of sensitive data. Before requesting or processing that information, Luis explains which sensitive data would be involved and why, and asks for your separate, explicit permission. You can decline and still receive coaching or answer the non-sensitive questions in the optional forms. We adapt the work to what you choose to share. Remanso keeps proof of each authorization and provides a copy on request.
